Senior product designer
SUMMARY
Wow! What a thrill! When I was asked to work at Stellantis, the thought that one day a car I see passing on the street, to think that I had a hand in it, to think that I designed a part of it, to think that whoever drives it, or is on board in general, will interact with something I thought and decided, it's an incredible feeling. I do this job for these emotions. With all humility, the thought of entering people's lives and solving their problems, it gets me out of bed in the morning.
Well, what was my gig, you ask?
In reality, I've done so many things that I wouldn't even know where to begin telling you about all of them. Of course, due to NDA, I can't go into specifics. I can tell you that I've designed for Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Lancia, and Fiat. I've worked on various projects for these different brands, but I spent most of my time on Alfa Romeo.
Additionally, my role was divided into two key areas. Firstly, a substantial focus on the operational side, where I got hands-on, designing both the UX and UI for the entire car's HMI. The other part of my job involved managing a team and ensuring we met our set objectives.
takeaways & pearls of wisdom I've bequeathed
Passion, perseverance, organization, and creativity. I had the honor of working alongside incredible people, professionals from all over the world (literally) at the highest level in every existing role. I tackled exciting projects. We conducted extensive research and worked towards shaping the future. It was an experience, both professionally and personally, that I will never forget!
