SUMMARY

Alright, folks, picture this: I spent a bit over a year at Whirlpool, and let me tell you, it was a whirlwind of excitement! From fridges to ovens and even a brand makeover, I was in the thick of it all. Now, I wish I could spill all the beans, but you know, NDA and all that jazz. Just know this – I ran the show for a product, top to bottom, and had a little team dance to my tune. I even got my hands dirty in the design game. It was a blast, my friends!

Well, what was my gig, you ask?

Here's the lowdown: I was in charge of designing user interfaces for the aforementioned products. You know those sleek, high-tech displays you find in top-notch refrigerators or ovens? Yep, those ones. From conceptualizing and understanding user needs to guiding and directing them, I was all in. And then, it was down to the nitty-gritty, handcrafting icons, creating a font, making decisions on colors and setting the right mood. It was a delightful fusion of creativity and functionality, if I do say so myself!

Oh, and did I mention? I also crafted a massive app that encompasses all the products of one of the brands. With this app, you can remotely manage everything. Picture this: refined and elegant design in a sprawling and complex app. That's right, we're talking about a large-scale masterpiece!

takeaways & pearls of wisdom I've bequeathed

In this experience, I learned for the very first time how to work with an international team, in a multinational corporation, with countless people scattered across the globe. I studied numerous personas and delved into product design. I paid attention to every detail, striving for results beyond 'pixel perfect'. I experimented extensively and managed my first real team. I stood alongside individuals who were not only professionals but truly fantastic people.

Examples of products that I have designed
- I cannot disclose anything specific due to a NDA
